Marvelous Makayla, The Walrus Hunter

Well we went walrus hunting today and wow did we get into some big ole bass. Did we get all of em? Nah..... But Makayla put her hard hat on and went to work. She caught not one, but yes two 9 lbers today. We caught 19 fish today in about 4 hrs of action. We stayed deep all day and threw shaky heads, c-rigs and deep diving cranks at em. I really enjoyed my time with the three of them and look forward to doing it again in the not so distant future. Sure is refreshing seeing an 11 year old girl so into fishing and wanting to hang with her ole man. I can only hope and pray that my lil angels go down that same path. Well done Josh and April.
